The Polish Roman Catholic
Union of America is proud to offer the Orphan Benefit program at no
additional cost to the eligible children of our qualified members. We offer
our members programs that provide additional fraternal benefits.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Any child, natural of
legally adopted of both parents. An orphan is defined as a child who becomes
fully orphaned by the death of his or her lawful parents.
PARENTS REQUIREMENTS
Both parents must be
insured members of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America. Each parent
must have a permanent insurance certificate in the amount of $5,000 or more in
force at the time of their death.
ORPHAN BENEFITS
Orphan benefits become
effective the month following the approval of the Orphan Benefit
application. The Orphan Benefit allowance
will be in accordance with the following schedule:

The Orphan Benefit will
cease at age 19, if and when the orphan is adopted, marries or becomes self
supporting.
The Orphan Benefit may be
paid to the legal guardian, person, or persons who have become responsible
for the orphan. |
